The ABC’s of Developing Written Performance Standards to Effectively Manage Staff Performance
This workshop will show you how to write such documents that describe what, how and by when you want things done, using objective language and measurable performance statements. These documents form the basis for effective selection, training, appraisal and coaching of your staff and are essential for anyone wanting to get things done through others, to your standard.
The ABC’s of Coaching Staff for Peak Performance
Effective coaching of your staff will result in increased profits and a more enjoyable environment through: Higher quality performances, Increased loyalty & commitment, Better morale, Improved relationships and Increased staff retention. In other words…staff doing what you want them to do!!! Teaching Swimming Seminar – Chris & Naomi Smith
- Common stroke faults that occur during the Learn-to- Swim phase & ideas & methods to correct (Chris)
- Songs & activities to help make your Infant & Preschooler classes fun, educational & skilled based (Chris)
- Motor development in early childhood & how this relates to swimming lessons (Naomi)
- Ways to assist a child’s recall of swimming lesson information (Naomi)
Teaching Swimming Seminar – Jan King
Using young pool demonstrators foreign to Jan (i.e. ‘the real thing), she will present and explain simple, logical progressions for each of the four strokes, the relevant turns and starts. Each drill shown has a biomechanical purpose that aids development of efficient technique.
The Teaching Essentials series are usually delivered during the annual SwimTOUR.
