Building Healthier Swim Schools Swim Australia along with our major partner Australian Unity has hosted highly successful event for Swim Schools registered with Swim Australia.

The Building Healthier Swim Schools Seminar was held in 3 major cities in 2008, 2009 & 2010 – Melbourne, Brisbane & Sydney. In 2008 Marketing tips from Melbourne-based guru Frank Chamberlin. In 2009 it was Human Resource Management tips from Australian Unity’s David Bowering. In 2010 it was Financial Planning tips from Australian Unity’s Craig Meldrum.

Each seminar also had Q&A Panel & Forum, pictures with Australian Unity Learn to Swim Ambassador Hayley Lewis, morning tea and lunch, networking … all FREE, thanks to Australian Unity. In 2009 Swim Schools also got to hear and have pictures with current Olympians Shayne Reese & Kenrink Monk. In 2010 it was Commonwealth Games record holder (most representations) Adam Pine.

Approximately 300 Swim School Managers and Teachers from 80 different Swim Schools have taken advantage and enjoyed these seminars over the last 3 years. Australian Unity plans to continue these seminars in 2011.
