Australian Unity has provided over 170 Swim Schools with kickboards, backstroke flags and banners in just the first year - with much more to following in the ensuing years.
 
Australian Unity's partnership with Swim Australia provides for much more though. 
 
Promotions will be developed to drive new customers to Swim Schools registered with Swim Australia. 
 
At the Swim Schools - owners, management, staff and customers alike - will have the opportunity to benefit from  special offers.  This will help in retention of staff and customers!
 
Additionally, Australian Unity will assist Swim Australia in the development of good-fit programs to help fill 'dead  space' and quiet times.

Australian Unity – the new major sponsor of Learn to Swim

As the mother of a five-year-old daughter, I can see first-hand the importance of swimming lessons from both a safety and health perspective.

While safety is often the driving force for many parents to enrol their children for swimming lessons, it is becoming increasingly important to establish healthy exercise habits early in life.

At Australian Unity, we understand the many health benefits associated with swimming. We know that regular exercise, such as swimming, can help to reduce the risk of obesity, asthma, heart disease, diabetes and other health related issues.

That’s why we are thrilled to announce our major sponsorship of the Learn to Swim program.

As part of the Australian Unity sponsorship, we have supplied 170 swim schools around Australia with new kickboards, backstroke flags and banners. We hope this equipment makes it easier for swim schools to continue to provide children with high quality lessons.
